^4[5FIZZY POPS GAMES DISK 1.[0
^1 There are two games on this disk, both are traditional, Noughts &
^1Crosses and Super Brain, which is a mastermind type game. Both are
^1very nicely presented and worth collecting. (see PD reviews)
^2APD 300
^4[5CO-ORDINATION by G.R. MERRITT.[0
^1 This is a variation on the old bat and ball type computer game, but
^1before you skip the rest of this description, it's not just a case of
^1hitting the ball across the screen to another bat. The idea is to
^1deflect the ball past obstacles to reach the exit on the other side
^1of the screen. This is not as easy as it seems. (See PD reviews for
^1more)

^4[5Programs by David Boucher.[0
^1 There are FIVE programs on this disk, it's really good value with
^1two games, a music player and two utilities.
^61. DEFENDER.
^1 Earth is being invaded by aliens and it is up to you, yet again, to
^1save us all. The beasties come speeding down in their flying saucers
^1belting missiles at the city's protective dome. You have to belt them
^1before they fry the city.
^62. SNAKE.
^1 This is another great version of an old game. You have to guide the
^1supercharged snake around the grid defusing mines without letting it
^1crash into the border or into another part of its own body.
^1 The graphics are brill and the presentation is excellent in both
^1these games, and give good V.F.M. on their own.
^63. GHETTOBLASTER.
^1 David has also provided a music player with three pieces by John
^1Kinsella. There is a nicely drawn Ghettoblaster, with an animated
^1cassete deck as the music plays.
^64. AMOS TEXT V1.2
^1 This program can be used to display an ascii file when placed in
^1your disk's ":DOC_Files" directory. It will pick up all ascii files
^1with the suffix .DOC . The display is controlled by clicking on the
^1relevant buttons and on-screen help is always available.
^65. A.F.P.
^1 This program will let you print an ascii file. (Hence A F P = ascii
^1file printer) It is epson compatable and looks as good as the other
^1programs on the disk.
^1 Again both programs are nicely done and worth a look.

^4[5PAINT V1.16 by Adam Barker (C.S.A.)[0
^1 This is the first version of a comprehensive paint package Paint V2.
^1You can do everything you need to produce a picture, and it has a
^1clear menu screen giving you all the available features. This
^1version does still have some bugs, bt these are mentioned in the docs
^1and they will hopefully be fixed for V2.
^2APD 303
^4[5LITTERBUSTERS by Patsoft[0
^1 This game started out on te BBC computer to teach kids to pick up
^1litter. Now it has been converted to AMOS by Patsoft and is offered
^1as shareware.
^1 The idea is to pick up the litter from each level before progressing
^1to the next. There are also keys to open doors, and rubbish sacks
^1that help you get past the piles of litter.
^1 A nice `green' game! (see PD reviews)
^2APD 304
^4[5FIZZY POP BOUNCE AROUND MUSIC DEMO[0
^1 Listen to some nice music while the red balls bounce in time to the
^1beat. It is 1mb, but does crash if you load more than two or three
^1files in a row.
^2APD 305
^4[5THE DEMO CONSTRUCTOR DEMO.[0
^1 Have you been longing to produce a demo but don't have the knowhow
^1to put it together? This is a demo of a demomaker, or if you prefer,
^1a creator written with a creator!
^1 Most of the facilities are available in the Demo Version, but the
^1Compile Demo option has been disabled. All you have to do is Load a
^1music file, a text file, a picture and play about with the rainbows,
^1and you have an instant demo!
^1 The full blown version should be very usable!
^2APD 306
^4[5PICPLAY[0
^1 Display your favourite pictures to your favourite music, and
^1customise the show to your requirements.
^1 An easy to use display program.
^2APD 308
^4[5CODER VERSION 2 by Andrew Elia[0
^1 This disk will protect your files for you by encrypting them. This
^1means turning the files into a code that can only be read by someone
^1who knows the key to unscrambling it again.
^1 There is full documentation on the disk, so that nothing can be left
^1to doubt.
^1 Also on the disk are Copper Maker, Zone Maker and Vector Virus
^1Killer.
^2APD 309
^4[5REINCA DEMO[0
^1 This is a 6 part demo by Reinca. Each part of the demo has to be
^1accessed by using the function keys which unfortunately is rather
^1longwinded, but they have put in some good effects.
^2APD 310/311
^4[5KETCHUP by Bitmapped Productions[0
^1 The demo is split into two parts, the music part being on the second
^1disk. There are plenty of effects to see and messages to read, the
^1'psychotic effects' alone make this worth a look. The selection of
^1music is taken from PD.
^2APD 312.
^4[5LC24/200 FONTS DEMO.[0
^1 As well as the demo, this disk contains 2 fonts, an Amos system font
^1editor and a new Amos font.
^2APD 313
^4[5MARINERS MATE[0
^1 This shareware game is based on an old sailor's board game where the
^1object is to remove all the pegs on the star-shaped board by jumping
^1over pegs rather like draughts or solitaire. Computer versions of
^1games with small pieces are always a good idea as none of the pieces
^1get lost!
^2APD 314.
^4[5BLACKJACK TRAINER[0
^1 Here we have a program that will help you to learn the game while
^1you play. You have everything needed to learn with the options
^1displayed in the top menu bar.
^1 You start playing the game and you are shown the best option to
^1choose when a light flashes by the appropriate button. It does not
^1mean that that will ensure a win, and you do not have to follow the
^1advice given, but it is a guideline. You can bet up to £25 at a
^1time, out of the £200 you start with. The graphics are very good and
^1the game is well presented, a must for would-be card sharks.
^2APD 315
^4[5SILVER BARS AND THE ENEMY DEMO by ANDREAS ANDREOU[0
^1 This is a demo of the author's previous, present and future
^1productions. Andreas wrote the puzzle game 4-Way Lynx which is
^1available as LPD 7. It looks as if he will be onto another winner
^1with Silver Bars and the Enemy which is a scrolling arcade type game.
^2APD 317
^4[5BANKER[0
^1 On first reading the title `Banker' I thought that here was
^1something that would keep my finances in order - wrong! For Amos
^1users, a bank isn't the place where money comes from, but the way in
^1which data of different sorts is stored! So this program is an
^1utility that does just that. Very nicely set out and easy to use it
^1should help a lot of you out there.
^2APD 318
^4[5BOING by Josh Addison[0
^1 Boing has come all the way from New Zealand, its a joystick
^1controlled arcade game. You have to guide Herbert home avoiding all
^1the nasty things that could kill him. There are several levels with
^1lots of problems to get through.
^1 You have three lives, and you need to be quick off the mark to get
^1through this game. (see Reviews section)
^2APD 322
^4[5BOOT UTILITIES by Ramage Software.[0
^1 This is a shareware collection of boot utilities by Andrew Elia.
^1This disk will interest those who want book utilities made easy. The
^1scrolling instructions flash past somewhat rapidy in this compiled
^1collection, which proves that the Compiler does speed things up!
^2APD 323
^4[5SOURCE CODE Various Authors[0
^1 This disk contains the Puzzle Game and Sprite Grabber which are on
^1this disk as well as other useful code for you to play around with.
^2APD 324

^1 More code for you to have fun with!!
^2APD 325
^4[5HANGMAN V2 by Simon Walklate[0
^1 This is the shareware version of Simon's earlier Hangman. There are
^1some improvements from the last version.
^2APD 326 - 1.5 meg
^2APD 327 - 1 meg
^4[5WHICH WAY OUT by Mike Wellman[0
^1 This is the first time we've seen TOME used by anyone other that
^1Aaron Fothergill and ourselves!! Nice One Mike!
^1 This is a cave fighter style game, where you move around underground
^1caverns collecting keys and things. You are on a scooter to start,
^1but you can get off and walk if you like. Your temperature rises
^1until you explode unless you rest often, so watch out!
^1 Worth having if you're thinking of using TOME, or if you're a secret
^1cave fighter.
